Glenn Robinson, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, predicts that southern Ontario might have “heavy snowfall” beginning Wednesday afternoon and lasting through Thursday.
Robinson forecasts between 10 and 20 centimetres of snow for Toronto and Ottawa.
This week, Environment Canada predicts a high of 3 C and a low of -9 C.
Robinson went on to say that the Siberian arctic vortex that is striking Western Canada this week is probably unrelated to the decreasing temperatures.
As Robinson stated, it looks that we are back to regular seasonal temperatures, thus Ontarians may likewise anticipate a cooling in temperatures over the coming few days.
