Dog Park at Allan Gardens

Located on the west end of the Allan Gardens conservatory, this location offers plenty of space for both big and small dogs with separate fenced-in off-leash areas for both. You won’t miss them due to the larger-than-life dog statues guarding each area.

Sunnybrook Park

Sunnybrook Park North York

Sunnybrook Farm was the 154-hectare country estate of Joseph Kilgour in the late 1800s. After Kilgour’s passing, his wife Alice donated Sunnybrook Farms to the city in 1928 to be used as a park. The off-leash area is fenced, allows commercial dog walkers and has a separate area for small dogs. Owners can enjoy the park as well with plenty of bike trails and sports fields.

Humber Bay Shores Park

Humber Bay Shores Park juts out into the water of Lake Ontario in the City’s west end. The narrow park It’s a great spot for bird watchers (human and canine) and hikers alike. There is a fenced off-leash area and allows commercial dog walkers.

Riverdale Park West

Riverdale park boasts beautiful glimpses of the Toronto skyline and the north end of the park has many trails for walking. An off leash area Southeast of the Riverdale Farm will allow your dog to run free and enjoy the spacious area. 

Stanley Park

When you want to avoid the masses gathering at Trinity Bellwoods, Stanley Park is a great west-end alternative with plenty of options for recreation and space for your small dog. There is an off-leash dog area as well as a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and plenty of grass for you and your pooch to take in the views of the city. 

Earl Bales Park

Located off Don River Boulevard from Sheppard Avenue West, this dog park offers a large off-leash area with plenty of fenced in space. Earl Bales Park is spread across 127 acres (51 hectares) and features playgrounds, a sensory garden, splash pad, outdoor amphitheatre, memorials, paved walking/cycling trails, picnic sites and fire pits. 

 Cherry Beach Clarke Beach Park

1 Cherry Street 

This dog park is located on the north shore of the Outer Harbour at the foot of Cherry Street. The park features a dog off-leash area right on the beach where your dog can splash in the water too. There is plenty of parking located on the Martin Goodman Trail and it also receives TTC bus service during the summer season.
