Did you know Ontario has been the only place not allowing indoor dining in North America? Well not for long! As of Friday, July 16th, Ontario has officially entered Stage 3 which means the reopening of indoor dining, movie theatres, indoor operations in gyms and more. Here’s a full breakdown of the new rules during the stage:

No restrictions:

-Sports are allowed with no restrictions on contact.

-Personal care services can now offer services where a face covering must be removed.

Limited Capacity:

-Social gatherings or public events will have an indoor capacity of 25 people and an outdoor capacity of 100 people. 

-Personal care services will no longer have a specific limited capacity as long as patrons can maintain a physical distance of 2 metres.

-Indoor retail, restaurants and religious services will also only be limited by the ability to maintain a distance of 2 metres between patrons. There will also no longer be a limit to the number of patrons per table. (Start booking your brunch reunions!) 

-Establishments such as galleries and museums, science centres and casinos will be operating at 50 percent capacity indoors and 50 per cent outdoors, amid additional restrictions.

-Zoos, aquariums, historic sites, amusement parks and water parks  will be operating at 50 percent capacity indoors and 50 percent outdoors, with additional restrictions.

-Performing arts venues such as cinemas, theatres and concerts are open at a limited capacity of 50 percent or 1000 people (whichever option is less).

-Indoor establishments such as bars and clubs will be limited to a maximum capacity of 50 percent indoors and 50 percent outdoors, as well as the ability to maintain a physical distance of 2 metres. 

-Strip clubs have limited capacity by the ability to maintain a distance of 2 metres between patrons as well as other restrictions.
