Let’s talk momos. My very first time trying a momo was last summer at the height of the pandemic. I remember walking through the empty streets of Toronto hoping to find a restaurant where I could try something new. The blog 6ix team and I stumbled upon an amazing restaurant called Loga’s corner. At that time that we had stumbled upon this restaurant they were still struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic. As more and more people have started to try new areas of food and support other local businesses within their own respective areas, we’ve seen that Loga’s Corner has respectively gained and incredible customer platform. The reviews will even tell you this is the best spot to get momos at the best price!
If you’re looking for something similar to a momo but not exactly a momo then you better try out the Juicy Dumpling spot in Chinatown downtown Toronto. The thing that first attracted us to this restaurant was the big sign on the window that said “Midtown must try 6 pieces for $2.99!” These dumplings are simply so large and so full of broth and filling that for $3 you can’t go wrong. They also have an option where you can get them pan fried for a small extra fee, but in our opinion it’s definitely worth it.
Are you a more of a momo person or of a dumpling person? Personally, I’m just a food person in general so both of these places have a special place in my heart, and in my stomach!
