Everbloom Music Fest To Celebrate Black History Month

The Everbloom music event will take place on February 25 in Toronto’s Great Hall.

According to a press release, the festival is a celebration of performing artists in Canada and provides an opportunity for people to support Black Canadians who are working to develop art, music, and culture.

The festival has had multiple successful virtual editions in the last two years, and the goal this year is to bring people together again through live music. Guests will also be able to explore a vendor market with handcrafted items from Black-owned businesses in the GTA.

The LINEUP includes • Sammy Jackson • Del Hartley • AHSIA • koziithegoat • B1GJuice • Loti • WolF McFarlane • Maurice Moore • noiir • Eboni the Queen • Manny Dingo • Fafiélla • victory • Quincy Griffith • DJ Shannyn Hill • DJ TXWLL

The event’s theme this year is #BlackInCanada, which should spark discussions on how Black people contribute to the fabric of our country’s arts and culture.

It’s also a chance for Canadians to get together and celebrate cultural diversity by supporting Black-owned companies in the vendor market and enjoying performances by drag kings and queens and musicians from across Canada who are making their voices known through their art.

The official programme for the event will include Black-Canadian performers, DJs, drag queens, and drag kings.
