Porter Airlines Rolls Out Jets With Free Wi-Fi!

A fleet of brand-new planes operated by Porter Airlines will start operating flights from Toronto Pearson International Airport to a variety of locations soon.
Porter formerly only offered flights from Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport, but starting on February 1, it will also provide service from Pearson to Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, Halifax, Edmonton, and Calgary. The airline also claims that it would soon provide flights from Pearson to locations in the Caribbean, the United States, and Mexico.
Porter claims that the new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft provide a “elevated” flying experience. The current fleet of Porter will receive 100 of these versions.
The “most ecologically friendly single-aisle aeroplane” are Embraer E195-E2s. The planes are up to 65 per cent quieter and up to 25 per cent cleaner than previous-generation aircraft.

On flights, passengers may use free high-speed WiFi, and on longer trips, meals will be provided. No one will be confined to a centre seat thanks to the two-by-two cabin layout. Additionally, there is in-seat electricity on the 132-seat aircraft.

The lines from Toronto to Ottawa and Montreal will begin service on February 1. According to the corporation, lines to Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary will launch in the next weeks of February.
Porter will still provide service from Billy Bishop Airport for “regional” trips.
