Super Skinny Toronto Home in Market for $3.4-million!

In Toronto’s Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood, a house under 15 feet wide has been listed for sale for close to $3.4 million.
The three-story house at 42 Foxley Street is small yet has five bedrooms and five baths.
The semi-detached house has white wood floors, 10-foot ceilings, two walk-in closets, curving windows and arched doors that are visible from the street.
According to the description, 42 Foxley is just a few feet from Trinity Bellwoods Park, transportation, and the Ossington strip.
The house also features a patio in the backyard that is completely fenced in, as well as a back garage.
Despite being modest, 42 Foxley is described in the listing as “sophisticated and delicate.”
The residence in Trinity-Bellwoods is not the first of its sort to appear on the Toronto market. In 2022, 138 Clarens Street, a home in Little Portugal less than 10-feet-wide, was listed for nearly $2-million.

The Canadian Real Estate Association predicts that prices will drop by over 6% and house sales will drop by less than 1% from 2022.
Based on sales that have “more or less” stabilised since the summer, the group predicts that 495,858 houses will change hands in 2023, “suggesting the downward adjustment to sales activity from higher loan rates and heightened uncertainty may be in the rear-view mirror.”
Affecting the average house price, which CREA projects will be $662,103 in 2023, are the same factors.
Declining 12% from the last month of 2021, the real national average house price in December 2022 was $626,318, according to statistics.
