Torontonians 18+ in hot spots are now eligible for COVID-19 vaccination

Toronto residents of the age 18 and older who live in the hot spots are now eligible to book an appointment for a vaccination. The eligible residents can book an appointment through the link www.toronto.ca/covid-19 or by calling to a provincial vaccine booking line at 1-833-943-3900.

Currently, social media are full of residents’ complaints who argue that long waiting lines make booking an appointment look impossible. According to the posts, some people are experiencing an issue with the booking platform which does not reflect the new eligibility group for them, while others complain about the fact of thousands of people in the line which elevates the waiting time up to a few hours.

As per the government’s statement, the expansion of eligible groups is an important milestone for the city and they encourage everyone to get vaccinated as soon as they become eligible in order to bring an end to the pandemic.
